What Salix requires
- Pre-handover commissioning data on installed plant.
- Sub-metering on the new heat-pump or fabric-treated zones.
- Annual energy submissions for the agreed reporting window (typically 5 years).
- Difference between modelled and measured kgCO2e with narrative.
Metering and sub-metering at handover
Without sub-metering it is impossible to attribute measured savings to the funded measure. BMS upgrades that incorporate sub-metering pay for themselves at this stage [Salix].
Material undershoot
Material undershoot triggers a clawback conversation. Salix focuses on systematic vs random variance: if the measured number is consistently below model, look at SCOP, fabric, or commissioning. If it is volatile, look at metering.
