- Asset list: every building on site, age, construction type, last refurb date.
- GIFA m² per building (gross internal floor area).
- Energy: last 12 to 24 months of kWh per fuel per meter.
- DEC + EPC: all public buildings should have a DEC [DESNZ].
- Plant inventory: boiler age, output, fuel, last service.
- Ownership evidence: freehold, lease, PFI.
Owner-by-row
- Estates manager: asset list, plant inventory, GIFA.
- Finance: energy bills, fuel kWh, capex history.
- Trust governance: ownership documents, sign-off pack.
- Net Zero hub or in-house sustainability: indicative GCC sanity-check.
Realistic timeline
Two to four weeks if the data exists in finance and estates systems already; six to eight if you are reconstructing it from supplier statements and CAD drawings.
